Learning Outcomes and Application | This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to lead and promote effective communication in the workplace. It includes the skills and knowledge required for effective written and verbal communication.This unit is applicable to supervisors, technical experts or managers in the meat retail, smallgoods, meat processing and food service sectors producing meat and meat products for domestic and export markets.All work in this unit should be carried out to comply with workplace and regulatory requirements.This unit applies to individuals who take responsibility for their own work and for the quality of others’ work within known parameters. They provide and communicate solutions to a range of predictable and sometimes unpredictable problems.No occupational licensing, legislative or certification requirements are known to apply to this unit at the time of publication. | ||
Duration and Setting | X weeks, nominally xx hours, delivered in a classroom/online/blended learning setting. Assessment must include demonstration of competency in the workplace under normal working conditions. A minimum of three different forms of assessment must be used. Assessors must satisfy current standards for RTOs. |
